We booked the 3 bedroom villa with our own pool and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Rooms were large and spacious. Restaurant had live music all evening. Service was 5-star from the welcome to the send off. Staff was kind, professional and always smiling. Our flight was rescheduled 2.5 hours later and the hotel let us hang around and use the facilities (beach, pool, etc) while waiting for our ride to the airport. This hotel is minutes away from the underground river tours departure point, and there are a few other activities to do.

We were lucky to be in the Honeymoon Suite - the view is simply amazing, the room is gorgeous in every single detail, the breakfast served at the private balcony is delicious and beautifully displayed, the dinners with tables set on the beach are extremely romantic - the decor of the tables is meticulous. The stuff and service is beyond any expectation! The beach is super crowded due to all the "sardines-tour-boats" (mass-tourism tours that arrive from El Nido Town), but the area right in front of Vellago remains private the entire day! The corals are still pretty (not amazing, but nice variety) and we got lucky in spotting monkeys while swimming to the adjacent beach! That was something totally unexpected considering how crowded El Nido area is. It was really hard to leave Vellago and go back to reality!

Set in the Coron Town Proper district, the inn is within 5.3 km of Maquinit Hot Spring. Super friendly staff most of all. The day we were leaving they booked a transfer for us to the airport and they even made us a take away breakfast at 5:45 in the morning!Room was big and clean and the bathroom was also spacious and comfortable. Location is great, just walking distance to all main shops and restaurants in town. Thank you guys for taking such good care of us!

Aquilah Homestay Inn is conveniently set in the centre of Coron, and provides a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. Ideally set in the Coron Town Proper district, this inn is located 5.3 km from Maquinit Hot Spring. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Very clean and comfortable place just a 10 min walk to downtown Coron. A/C is new which means it can be on and you will be still able to sleep 😄 Everyone is super helpful and nice. All kinds of tours can be booked at the reception as well as a very cheap airport transfer. It has been one of my best accomodations while travelling the philipines(moneywise)!
