The location was really convenient. If you are coming from KIX Kansai International Airport it’s just one train ride to the hotel. It’s just a few minute walk to the train station so it was easy to get around places like Namba and Universal Studios. the hotel itself is nice and cosy the rooms are clean with good amenities. They also lend out hair irons which was good since I forgot to bring mine. Overall the stay was absolutely fantastic with very friendly staff and they all speak fluent English.

Amazing location in the mountains of Nara (an easy bus ride from Oji station), the property surrounding the temple was just beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious traditional meals. Lots of vending machines on site. This was the highlight of our trip and we'd absolutely do it again.

Amazing Japanese food, impeccable service (attentive yet non intrusive) , quiet location lovely peaceful views. The temple, turn right outside the door and walk for 10 mins was incredible, virtually no one there and more impressive than the tourist traps in Kyoto (fushimi inari) amazing mountain view. The location is amazing. 10 minute taxi from Oji station. Can't recommend highly enough. The onsen was lovely.

Really special homely and welcoming ryokan, and so beautiful! Made my trip so special staying here and it was so lovely to make new friends here. Loveliest rooms (I stayed in 2 rooms because of how I booked it), cute little bar where I had such a delicious coffee in the morning, beautiful art on the walls and the most wonderful people working and living there.
