Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven mat) floor and shoji sliding paper screens. Some rooms offer tranquil views of the Seto Inland Sea. I really enjoyed my stay and I absolutely loved the sea views, the dinner and breakfast meals, the kind staff and overall the experience of a traditional Japanese ryokan, sleeping on the tatami floor etc. I stayed one night only but I was very pleased.

Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. The room was big and confortable, the bathroom was amazing. The public bathroom is great and tattoo friendly. The view from the room is on the floating Tori and it was great. The staff is nice. They picked us up straight from the harbor you just need to ask.

This is a traditional ryokan which has great food and really lovely staff. We were so well taken care of. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and varied on each of the 3 days that we stayed. Our room was spacious and had a delightful sitting area. The location within the temple grounds was beautiful. We were picked up and dropped back at Yasugi train station, as well as the Adachi museum. Highly recommended.

This recently renovated ryokan is located 1.8 km from Shoin Shrine and 3.2 km from Hagi Station. The ryokan features family rooms. This is a gorgeous inn. So serene and beautiful. Very nicely built with beautiful gardens visible from hallways and rooms. Staff was super friendly and the kaiseki dinner was fantastic. Really loved this place and could see why it has been in business for 100 years.
