Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. Among the facilities of this property are a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Every room includes a terrace. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive from this property. My girlfriend and I stayed at Kanade in September 2024. The ryokan offers a beautiful interior and room, as well as a convenient location (there are two bus stops nearby, allowing easy access to anywhere in Kyoto). The room also has a great view of the garden. We ordered breakfast at the hotel as well. Despite some issues in scheduling breakfast for us, thanks to the excellent and well-coordinated work of the staff and chefs, we were able to enjoy a wonderful breakfast that same morning. The beds are very comfortable, and there’s a lovely yukata set for two in the room. We liked everything and would be happy to stay again. Special thanks to the hotel staff who worked hard to make our stay comfortable and resolved any minor issues as quickly as possible.

Massage service is also provided at a surcharge. Luggage storage is offered, while laundry service is offered at an additional charge. A great mix of a traditional and modern ryokan. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and traditional, while the amenities are modernised. The futon beds were surprisingly comfortable. The on-site onsen bath is very neat and tattoo friendly. Overall a very nice experience. The staff were very friendly, accomodating and very helpful.

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Hi, once i left my comment but disapeared :/ Ok trying once more :D Very nice hote and had tradicinal ryokan, they also provide yukata for everyone, polite staff, they do nice traditional breakfast, also they can organize traditional tea ceremony with renting the kimono. We had very nice stay.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Small and well run family onsen ryokan with in house small outdoor and cave onsens which are private in the afternoon of check in and public by gender the next morning. The top floor room named "Maple" has wonderful view of the colourful vegetation on the mountain side and small water feature at the bottom. Owner operator is very attentive and service oriented. Highly recommended!!!

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. Just beautiful. The temple is gorgeous and serene. We had the family room with a private bathroom which was clean and a good size for our family. The dinner was perfection and one of the best meals we had in Japan. We wish we had booked for longer.

The property is around 9.1 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, 12 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church and 12 km from Shijonawate City Museum of History and Folklore. The ryokan has family rooms.

At the ryokan, each unit comes with a tatami and a TV. At the ryokan, all units have a shared bathroom with slippers and free toiletries. Yamato may not be the closest to Osaka, but it is still pretty close to Ikoma station from where you can take the Kintetsu line into the city. The area around the ryokan is amazing, but warning - the stairs going up to it are only easy downwards :D Yamato itself is amazing, it has everything for the traditional ryokan experience - tatami, futon, onsen and yukata. The owner is super nice and she even asked her husband to help me with my big luggages, thank you so much! I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area!
