The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. Our stay in Oshino was a truly unique experience and memory we will cherish forever. The house was beautiful and luxurious, especially the gorgeous zen garden and onsen hot bath. What really blew us away though was the food. We went for dinner and breakfast during our stay and the experience was incredible. There was an amazing array of beautifully prepared Japanese dishes lovingly served to us. All of it was delicious and felt like a fine dining experience from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and attentive throughout our stay and even helped us to book a taxi to our next destination. Oshino itself was a beautiful place which felt incredibly calm and peaceful. The view of mount fuji from our bedroom window was spectacular and it was a delight to watch the scenes change so quickly with the weather from such luxurious comfort.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We loved this place! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. The breakfast is Japanese style and is very good. The owner is very kind and helpful. We were late for retrieving our stored luggage at the hotel, the owner offered us a ride to catch our express bus to Tokyo. We are so grateful for his help, because we will miss the bus without his help. Lastly, our room has excellent view of Mt. Fuji, and the hot spring bath is very enjoyable. Everything in the hotel is very clean and well maintained.

This 3-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and public bath. The accommodation features free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. Hiromi was the most warm & welcoming host, along with her family. She even prepared some phrases As Gaeilge to welcome me! The rooms are typical ryoken style with tatami flooring, shoji doors and a comfortable futon for sleeping. Each room has a view of Mt Fuji if you are lucky to see her like I was. There is an onsen for bathing and they provide a yukata robe to wear. The location is nearby to the hop-on/hop-off bus and right beside lake Kawaguchiko which was the perfect place for photographing Mt Fuji unobstructed. The breakfast spread was amazing traditional Japanese style and they gave me a lift back to the station after check-out. I loved every element of my stay!
