Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Nous avons adoré ce ryokan très traditionnel et peu cher comparé à d'autres que nous avons testés: une vraie expérience authentique au pied du temple Zenko-ji! La chambre était spacieuse, les futons n'encombraient pas la chambre et étaient installés pendant notre souper. Les petits détails comme le thermos de thé et les pyjamas étaient très appréciés. Le petit déjeuner japonais était très bon et le service excellent. C'était un de nos meilleurs souvenirs du Japon et nous y retournerions sans hésiter!

L’établissement Nunoya Ryokan se situe à Matsumoto, à 1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gare de Matsumoto. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel idéalement situé, à deux pas du château et entouré de nombreux restaurants. L’établissement est installé dans une ancienne maison pleine de charme, et notre chambre au dernier étage avait été entièrement rénovée, tout en conservant le style traditionnel japonais. La literie était particulièrement confortable. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, et en particulier à Michigo, pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité exceptionnelles.

Situé à Matsumoto, l’établissement Mitsubikiya possède un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans l’ensemble de ses locaux. Very beautiful and well maintained traditional hotel. Excellent attention and felicious breakfast

Hands down the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Maki is the most gracious of any host we have ever had. Excellent food (lots of it). This accommodation is worth planning an entire trip around. 2 private onsens. A massage chair. It was our first time with a traditional Japanese futon and we were surprised how comfortable sleeping was. Beautiful scenery and the most hospitable hosts (Maki, her mom the chef and Kenta the house pup) Thank you for an unforgettable stay! We can’t wait to come back again someday.

Our one night at Takimi House was the highlight of our two-week trip to Japan. The hosts, a lovely couple, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality were truly exceptional. The food was another standout aspect of our stay. Every meal was delicious, but the miso soup was particularly incredible. It was the best we’ve ever had! Additionally, the hosts picked us up and dropped us back off at the train station in Nagiso which was incredibly helpful given the remote location of Takimi House. This extra touch made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, Takimi House provided an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.

Situé au cœur de Nozawa Onsen, le Tanuki propose un hébergement traditionnel avec des chambres de style japonais dotées d'un sol en tatami (paille tissée). Everything. It was a great location at a great price.

This is a traditional ryokan and therefore it’s important to assess it on its own terms. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it is a lovely place to stay. The staff were wonderful, our room was huge and comfortable, the onsen was beautiful and the food was outstanding. I loved the traditional yukata and samue they provided, and the beauty products in the onsen were great. The location is very good- an agricultural town with fields surrounded by mountains- but it is next to a road so it’s not the most scenic. That said, it is very close to an amazing shrine that is one of the most beautiful holy places I have ever experienced.

L'établissement Berg Marukaneya est situé à Nozawa Onsen, à 2 km du lac Hokuryuko et à 3 minutes à pied du domaine skiable le plus proche. Amazing 4-night stay at Berg Marukaneya! The half-board meals were fantastic—super delicious and very generous, both in the morning and evening. The room was comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the ski lift and slopes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even thinking flexibly and creatively to help us extend our stay by two extra nights at the last minute. And as a bonus, we were even offered a free ride to the bus station. Highly recommended! BTW, the ski and snowboard rental across the street was also great!
