The property was beautiful, high ceilings, large, bright and airy. It was beautifully decorated and loved the windows opening to get a nice breeze through the apartment. Alina and Pierre were lovely to deal with and met us on arrival and showed us around. We were a family of 4, 7 and 9yr olds- the fold down sofa was really comfortable and the apartment was plenty big enough to not have to worry about putting the bed up and down each day. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed. It was right in the heart of Pezenas- location was perfect.

Excellent location - very quiet, 3 mins walk from the car park - you can't park at the property but there is a free town car park nearby. Spar just around the corner and 3 supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Very comfy beds, very clean - everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Pezenas is a really lovely historic town to stay in. We have family nearby and would definitely book this if we visit again.

Lovely old town, cobbled streets, lots of shops selling individual items, restaurants and bars. Beautiful, historic buildings. Fabulous extensive market held every Saturday selling local produce, clothes, wine etc. Very friendly people, easy to walk around.

Amazing historic town full of narrow alleyways.
Amazing historic town full of narrow alleyways. Like a set from Harry Potter!
Easy to drive to coastal villages. Recommend Marseillan and Meze for charming ports and seafood.
It was harder than expected to find good places to eat in the evening, but maybe this was due to it being end of season.
Recommend La Pomme D’Amour and Italian restaurant Le Pezenas but not the ones in by the car park as you arrive.
Good for little antique shops but the twice yearly Antique Fair/ Brocante was extremely overpriced for carboot type items!

Pezenas is all about the old town and the artisans that occupy the labyrinth of ancient streets oozing with history and charm. We happened to chance upon a three day celebration of Moliere and the 17th century which was a colourful and busy celebration through singing, music, theatre, food and wine from the region.

The main building was dirty and dingy, heavily stained carpets in the reception and room entry points. We booked a suite but had to go back to reception and ask for an alternative suite or room, if they hadn’t had one we would have left and took our chances to find somewhere else.

Pezenas is a small historic town with narrow cobbled streets...
Pezenas is a small historic town with narrow cobbled streets and small squares with pretty water fountains. The buildings are tall, yellow stone with pretty shutters and beautiful ancient doors. There is plenty of choice to eat in friendly cafes and restaurants and lots of ice cream stalls. A bus station provides a good service for excursions but we chose to stay locally.
Close to the lovely town of Pezenas but set in the countryside about 4 mins away.
A friendly welcoming house. Room was spotless and the attention to detail was obvious. It had everything you might need from good coffee to well presented bathroom products. My room had a veranda which was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the singing birds. At night the auto blackout shade was a nice touch.
Breakfast was fresh and varied and lacked nothing.
My stay was very enjoyable and will return shortly.
We loved this old time apartment in the heart of historical Pezenas. It has character and a very interesting eclectic decoration, with a mix of distressed furniture and opulent cushions, a magnificent desk in the living room by the window where one could loose oneself in writing and reflecting, a very comfortable bed. Everything is supplied. You can make tea and coffee as well.
I highly recommend this place, it is a lovely change from the usual modern apartments and hotels to rent online.
There were so many things to like about this property. Laure is an exceptional host. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, breakfast is light, but lovely. Laure’s family ifs beautiful and welcoming and her staff is great! It was great to be able to prepare a light dinner and enjoy it on the patio. Laure went above and beyond even taking us to the bus the day we left since taxis are very hard to come by.
the location is excellent, very close to the square and many restaurants and shops. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a quiet building. Mark has done a fabulous job of furnishing and decorating the place and it was very clean. it has a very comfortable living area and the kitchen is well stocked. Mark was easy to deal with and provided numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in and around Pezenas.
A good location near the market and heart of town. The historic old town is less than 5 minutes walk away. There are many good restaurant and cafe options near by. Good parking is available nearby for E3.50 a night and the car park is easy to find and handy to the motorway. Wifi was good. The host was very pleasant and helpful and even gave us a bottle of wine on arrival.
Very central to Pezenas which is perfect, however it’s tucked down a quieter street so it’s not too noisy!
The balcony is the best part, we ate breakfast on it every morning!
The rooms are very spacious and well decorated, bed is super comfy aswell!
It’s also lovely that there’s a kitchen so you can cook for yourself if you want to.
Excellent breakfast - one of the best we have had in France - saved eating lunch! Ask for a room on 2nd floor, 3rd floor rooms have high windows and little charm. Very close to access the old town and surrounded by lots of restaurants. An elevator was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has obviously seen better days but good value.
The studio was impeccable. It was well appointed and warm. The decor was fresh and modern but kept the character of the building with exposed stone walls. The location was perfect near a little park and right in the centre of the town .We would certainly stay here again if we are in the area.
Amazing staff! Friendly, helpful, attentive. The tranquil setting, pool and gorgeous building created an amazing and comfortable atmosphere. The staff arranged dining at the adjoining restaurant as well as at a lovely spot in the nearby town of Pezenas. We did a day trip to Carcassonne.
The apartment was amazing. So spacious and felt like our second home for the 5 days we stayed. Pascal was so helpful & went the extra mile to ensure we had settled in and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot wait to return to Pezenas and stay at Le Saint Jean again!
The hotel is very convenient to the charming town of Pézenas via the footbridge. It is a beautiful and well-maintained hotel. The pool was a delight, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room was huge, much larger than we expected with a small kitchen.
Chic Mediterranean accommodation, only a 5 minute stroll into the heart of Pézenas. Really friendly staff and just lovely spaces throughout the hotel. Plus, a very useful kitchenette in the room meant we could have cold drinks in the fridge and a microwave also.
Pleasant hotel, good sized room, easy to find with parking on site and easy walking distance to the town.
Nice swimming pool. Breakfast reasonable cost. Staff provided information so we could get into the parking and into our room before 5 pm.
The host and hostess were just lovely! The breakfast was fabulous... They went to the town of Pezenas at 6:30 in the morning to get us fresh gluten-free bread which was fabulous, and send some with us when we left! Really incredible people.
A really great place, in the centre of Pézenas, a private parking space right outside the door, a friendly welcome, a quiet comfortable room in a beautifully renovated house, a good breakfast, in short it was perfect.
Very close to motorway. Very convenient to stop overnight. Hotel had everything what we need and also had secured parking which we liked. Delicious breakfast in the morning with the best croissants.
Everything about this place was exceptional including the breakfast.
Vincent was extremely nice and went out of his way to make our stay and visit in Pezenas amazing and the place was magnificent!
