This is a wonderful place. We met the hotel staff just once, at the breakfest, but all on-line communication was without any problems. The breakfest was simply amazing. The whole place is calm, clean and beautiful. That goes for the village too. This was truly accomodation beyond my expectations, as was the whole Denmark.

I have travelled far and wide, stayed in every manner of hotel, bed & breakfast, or other, and yet never found a place I would truly rate as exceptional. That is, until I stayed at Pension Lærkelill. The location, just outside the village, is excellent. The hosts, an absolutely lovely couple, are excellent: kind, very well spoken, attentive to their guests' needs, and practically always available. Breakfast was excellent, with tons of options, all delicious. The rooms are excellently equipped (with a microwave and fridge, a tea kettle, tea and coffee a-plenty, and of course all the other sundry), the shower is hot and never seemed to run out of water, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, well cared for, and lovingly invite any visitor to take a stroll down to the pond. I normally try to stay in different places when traveling, as I like to experience a wide gamut of what a country has to offer. For Pension Lærkelill, I made an exception and came back on my return trip through Denmark. If possible, the only downside was that I slept so amazingly well, I nearly woke up too late for breakfast. A sign on the wall proclaims: "Mom's hotel: always open". This place lives up to that motto.

An authentic Danish farm to spend a couple of days at. Nice people, a lot of space, animals, somehow rough rural atmosphere — however not far away from all the tourist spots like Legoland and Lego House. The kitchenette in the room allows being as independent as one gets during a stay.

The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with everything we needed readily available. It was well-equipped with all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. The people were incredibly nice, and the owners were particularly helpful. We encountered an issue with our car battery, and they helped us in replacing it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

A heart warming experience. Everything is well thought out. Beds are comfortable, bed lamps prepared for reading, every facility needed for a family to feel welcomed. The activity room provided hours of fun spent together. And the nearby bakery was the perfect place for breakfast.
