Right on the bank overlooking the Nile on an small island which was occupied by a Nubian village. A few restaurants an easy walk away. The owner and his family were onsite and provided transport to and from the island and to any sites we wanted to see. It was a great place to see this part of Egypt. He arranged for us all the activities we wanted to do (felucca, boat to the Kitchener's island or to the Nubian villages, Abu Simbel, taxi to Luxor). He is a very good cook and always prepare the best beverages. Besides that, the guest house offers nice and simple little rooms with AC. 5 minutes from the nearest public ferry (south).
