Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

It is a really wonderful place to stay. Hosts were fantastic. So much room and the facilities were more than we expected. Full kitchen with everything. Separate lounge area, great bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely nothing is missing!! Did i mention the views over the Loch and gardens - just beautiful.

Perfect location, ‘Retreat’ is the right name for it. Tranquil with lovely views, out of the way but on a small island still easy to get anywhere.

The lodge is super cosy, with a well-equipped kitchen, firm mattress and great location. The double doors in the living area have a gorgeous view and we saw lots of wildlife outside - hares, birds and even an owl! We were very sad to leave this calm and cosy space.

It was a converted mill and it was amazing! Really well renovated. Comfortable and a great living/dining/kitchen area at the top. That was a great decision. The room was so bright and comfortable, with views of the ocean.

The cottage was in a lovely peaceful location with great views, it had all of the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. It provided a great central base for exploring Orkney.
