Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

Perfect place, perfect little village, beautifull surroundings and views, very nice lady owner. Only stayed here for one night but really enjoyed it. Highly reccomended, wish we had more time and stayed here for longer. Thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house and couldn’t be more grateful to Eleni for her warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and taken care of. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, the house was spotless, and the view over Heraklion and the mountains was simply breathtaking.
