This is a lovely accommodation and our main regret was that we didn't stay longer. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated (so nice to experience after some of the shockers we saw). The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely lounge room with large windows overlooking the countryside. Both hosts were so lovely and friendly, providing us with milk, eggs and bread and providing us with advice and assistance. A true gem.

This is a great place. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The accommodation is very well fitted out and very clean. The bathroom facilities are spotless and very well appointed. House was great, location was lovely. House had everything we needed, really comfy, shower was great too. Big enclosed garden for dogs too. Host was great with communicating arrangements and travel tips, and he left some supplies which was a nice touch.

Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable.
