This is a genuine Irish cottage/home, thoughtfully restored and cared for and in a beautiful location - quiet, scenic and with stunning beaches on your doorstep. We were made feel very welcome, thanks to Harry and his wife who are close by -we enjoyed the chance to learn a bit about the local area and the history of the cottage. We loved the character of the cottage and the fact that it was really well furnished with everything you could need (plenty of kitchen ware for family dining, extra bedding, books, games with interest for all ages ) - we were three generations in one family group and we all had a very happy, peaceful and relaxing holiday. We loved it and hope to return! Almost forgot to say thanks for the turf which ensured we had a very homely fire in the evening.

The four of us absolutely loved our stay and all wished we could have stayed for longer. We definitely hope to return. This is a beautiful property finished to an exceptionally high standard with stunning views. Clean, well kept, everything we needed. Lovely comfortable bed. Hot tub an added bonus. Dog friendly which is why we were there. Would recommend to anyone. Had a very relaxing time and the weather was perfect, no rain and little wind. Hard to believe for Donegal but such a lovely break away. Thanks.

    Exceptional views from the left side of the house, windows overlooking the lough in almost every room - bringing outdoors inside, feeling as one with the surrounding environment. So very peaceful! Comfortable and cosy home with main living area open plan, perfect for spending quality time together. We loved the log burner and the kitchen had everything supplied that we needed.

    The Wee Green House was very cosy, but plenty of space for four people. A well-detailed manual was provided, which was a great help with knowing how to use all the appliances. It’s also within walking distance of shops and a newly refurbished pub is just round the corner. It was well stocked up with essentials like toilet roll, towels and bedding and kitchenware and utensils. There are plenty of beaches nearby and only a short drive from Glenveagh National Park.
