Both of the apartments are very nice and cozy and I loved the way I was "adopted" from the owners! They invited me over several times to grab some tea or coffee and helped me out quite a bit, as I was dealing with house-seeking in Cork. Trevor is an amazing host, very available and caring, he built that house with his own hands and you can tell that he cares so much as everything is cured in the detail. The apartments are provided with any comfort and if you still need anything Trevor will always be around to help. The owners have an adorable dog, Sam, who will come and cuddle with you if you're having a bad day! In the end, the only way to discover the many surprises that this place and the host offer is to stay at the Mariner's Rest!

How do you turn a caravan into a 5-star experience. Just add Paul - the kindest and most welcoming, plus a wood fired sauna to recover after a long hard day of biking. He had a few beers in the fridge plus some food for breakfast as I was travelling light. Incredibly thoughful !
