Actually we loved everything about this stay! Especially want to mention - the house is very new and clean. Kitchen is small but offers everything we needed. - although it was very windy during our stay, but we felt so safe and so cozy staying inside in the house and watching raining outside. Gave us kinda Iceland feeling! - maybe some people would find it a bit far away from the main road, but the drive to the house was just Amazing!! So we also enjoyed the drive very much - hot tube after a long hike was also one unforgettable experience

Great cottage! It had everything needed, we made use of the super hot tub and gas barbecue! The bed was comfortable and the place looked modern. It was located in a remote place, which is good if you value privacy. You have some attractions nearby, including the glacier and lava caves.

Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.

A very special guesthouse run by a lovely man who really wants to spend time with and spoil his guests! It has a homely feel with guests being more like dear friends. It cannot be compared with any other place we have stayed at and was the perfect ending to our holiday. When we were there it was possible to get a delicious soup in the evening together with the other guests. Breakfast was very good with homemade bread, four types of porridge, freshly-made waffles.... The surroundings are beautiful with several hiking routes starting next to the guesthouse. Many other sightseeing options nearby.

Great location, amazing nature! At night the northern lights are clearly visible - wonderful! Hot pot in severe frost- unforgettable :) Very comfortable guest house, wonderful hosts, everything is very convenient and thoughtful. I recommend to all. I can't thank the Hotel Manager enough! Iceland was experiencing unprecedented weather with -20 temperatures. We had booked a lodge with a hot tub but because of the cold, the pipes had frozen. Naturally we were disappointed, it was my 50th birthday and we had visions of seeing the Northern lights from the tub. The Hotel Manager went way above what we expected, he moved us to another lodge and personally oversaw the filling of the new hot tub, ensuring it reached the right temperature. At 9pm whilst in the tub we saw aurora borealis! What a memory! Thank you!
