Excellent location for starters, right in the heart of the city. The staff were wonderful human beings, played board games with us, provided a detailed itinerary of places of interest, prepared lovely breakfast, and in my case even dropped me off to the nearby bus station to catch a bus to my next stop on travel. Very pleased with the hospitality and the cleanliness of the rooms. Small and simple, yet still very relaxing.

Maduranga and his wife were exceptional hosts. They were both very warm, kind and friendly. I got caught in heavy rainfall and Maduranga offered to bring me an umbrella. His wife also made a home remedy for me to treat some insect bites that I had. The breakfast was abundant and varied and saw me through to way past lunchtime. The shower was excellent with hot water and the cleanliness of the room impeccable. A few days after my stay, he also checked in to see where I was and if I was ok. I highly recommend this homestay.

We stayed at the Glorious Nature Inn for 2 nights. We were greeted very friendly and it was very clean you felt right at home. The room with balcony and bathroom was very large. It was directly organized by the accommodation a scooter which worked great. We can recommend this accommodation to everyone!

The warmth of the hosts and their delicious cooking. Not to forget that the room was spick and span, tidy, even though small it served its purpose well, Especially the balcony view. Uncle always took good care of us and even arranged a tuktuk for various tourist spots in Ella. Aunty loves to cook delicious food for the people, please don't miss their sumptuous meal and never miss their breakfast which was amazing. Unfortunately, we stayed only for a night but must stay minimum 2 nights to absorb the beauty of the place as well as the warmth of the hosts.

The location, on the way to Ella Rock, walking distance from the train station, the city, walking distance from town, and the bridge, and little Adam’s Peak, but far enough to be in a quiet, green place. The view is amazing. Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and very nice hosts. Just perfect, so we stayed one extra night!

    The beds were comfortable, the hosts were sweet and helpful, the bathroom and shower were clean, there was a kettle to boil water and a fire to make food as well as a fridge, there was a common area in the kitchen and one by the dorms, really close to the train tracks (so easy to walk around, both into the city and out along the tracks) and easy to find when we first got here.
