The owner and Isabelle were absolutely fantastic and their messages and instructions were crystal clear. Sadly both of our mobiles could not pick up a roaming signal anywhere on the island at anytime Whilst the entrance gate is directly opposite the church the name of the property is not on the gates it is named "Elba" so it was a bit tricky to find and we spent 45 minutes locating it We loved the fact that Port Louis is a proper community with virtually no tourists whatsoever

Our stay at Sonya and Gerard’s place was amazing! The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way possible: impeccable cleaning, very spacious, a lot of amenities for the kitchen, fast internet, very well located - close to the beach and the shops in the area and a lovely balcony with a hammock where breakfast and dinner were not to be missed. They are fantastic people and we really enjoyed the time with them. We can’t wait to visit them again!

The whole house is huge and and the perfect privacy of the whole place. The host Hedley is an amazing person very heart welcoming, Hedley gave me a full house tour and also a welcoming tour of the neighborhood (food stall, supermarket, the church and the beach). The location, the facilities provided everything one could need, the host is the loveliest person ever. At arrival he took us on a trip through the city in his car and shared some history as well as local tips as to where to have a snack or cheeky special dessert. First of all, we easily found the residence with the help of the navigation. But we couldn't understand how to enter the car park, so I parked the car and entered the building to find someone responsible. Then, I found Mr. Ismael, who was responsible from the check-in process. He explained how we could enter the car park, he met us on the floor we were supposed to park our car, brought someone with a luggage carrier to carry our bags to our room, and dealt with the check-in process entirely. He also gave a number which we could easily contact him about any problems or questions about the apartment. Besides the apartment's own keys, the section with the apartments is accessed with a special password. So, it is quite safe. The residences are located on the 16th-20th floors, so you will have a beautiful Port Louis view. Our residence was quite big and comfortable. There are many things in the kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. There is scrabble if you are bored. There is a safe in one of the bedrooms to keep your belongings. There were two bedrooms in ours and they both have their own bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean. Before coming here, I was very nervous about the car park because of some negative comments, but in reality you won't have any problems while entering and going out the apartment if you do it properly. Only one car can go up or down at the same time because the car park is very narrow. On every floor, in the up and down directions, there are traffic lights. If the light is red, you have to stop because it means that a car is coming from the opposite direction. When the light is green, you can go. Finally, it is close to the Caudan Waterfront and the China Town, so you can walk there. Generally, we felt very safe and had a pleasant stay in Citadell Mall Apartments.
