Absolutely loved staying here! Thank you so much to the host Janine who met us to do the keys handover and explain everything. Communication before we arrived was excellent, the house was beautiful, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed including space in the garage to park our hire car overnight. Just wish we got to stay an additional night!

Communication was very nice & easy. Very friendly Anneline was welcoming us on arrival to hand over keys and explain how things work. Great quite & big place with super lovely garden and enough space also two Braai options, inside and outside. Just around the corner from the main road. Very clean and with a good sense for "design" and all things in the kitchen for your needs.

Oupoort Eco is the ideal place to relax and relieve yourself from all daily stress. The location to be when you're looking for digital detox, as well as going back to the past. For those worrying about the feedback, there is an open air office area where there is Wi-Fi. And there is also light from solar panels. The hosts are very friendly and willing to assist you in either way, from scenic drives over the farm area, night drives to try to find porcupine and aardvark (no guarantee, it's real wildlife), or some of their delicious karoo lamb chops or fresh eggs. Would definitely advise the location when you're looking for an outback adventure.

Lovely characterful, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable home. Walking g distance from shops and near to SALT where we had an excellent tour.

We had an incredible time at the Skooltjie Cottage. The peace and quiet and direct access to nature is lovely. Having a braai under the Karoo stars was truly special. Great opportunity for hikes and bird-watching.
