The aparthotel has family rooms. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Gmunden with easy access to all the interesting bits, the lake, the shops, the bars. It was also a comfortable walk to the Grunberg cable car. If you have a sweet tooth, you will enjoy the superb cakes and patisseries at both Grellinger and La Sonett. The apartment itself was well-equipped and I appreciated the air conditioning on hot days. For me, the location and the nice people at La Sonett made this a perfect stay for one person travelling alone with no car.

It is surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains. Apartment is not that far from main Austrian cities (Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck) and most interesting villages (Hallstatt, Zell am see, Kitzbuhel), as well. As for the inside - the view is breathtaking (especially during the sunrise). It is clean, warm, and very-well equipped (especially kitchen). The bed is very comfortable. We also much appreciated kindness and responsiveness of the host :) My best stay in Austria so far, 10/10.
