The view from our little room was amazing, a really wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend to enjoy a dinner here, too. It has been the best food we had during our trip. The hosts are very sweet and welcoming and our experience at this hostel has been excellent.

Amazing remote location, not far from the town Eglisstadir, the hosts were really helpful, it was clean and comfortable. We saw the Northern Lights that night at the guesthouse and it was really beautiful experience. I recommend this guesthouse for everyone who is traveling on the east side of Iceland.

The location was lovely - very gorgeous wee town, and a spectacular drive into the valley. The area around the apartment felt very safe, and, had it not been pouring with rain, would have been lovely to walk around. The old school house was beautifully appointed, super clean, and was a really good size. We appreciated the washing machine. The reception area was in the nearby bar/restaurant which we didn't eat at, but it looked really nice.
