This is a real gem located in the heart of Voralberg county. It is close to the cities of Dornbirn and Bregenz and has beautiful countryside with fresh air and lovely landscapes. The accommodation is located in an apartment-building-like cottage and seems brand new; in fact, some of the furniture still smells new. We enjoyed the never-ending cleanliness and space it provided. The hosts are very polite, and we are happy we had an opportunity to stay here. I hope to visit this accommodation again :-) If moving around this area, this accommodation will certainly be our first choice.

The location is great (walking distance to the village center with supermarket, few restaurants and charging point for electric car). We had several mountain walks with amazing views in the area (Sulzberg). Moving around is convenient (bus stop next to the house with free hourly bus going to Bregenz where you can take boat or train to travel around the lake). Appartement is very spacious (we were a family of 4 with a couple of friends visiting us for few days). Very clean and modern; amazing views from the terrace! Swimming pool is very clean, with few sun beds.

First the location! The view! The apartment was spacious and it had everything we needed and beyond. 2 big bedrooms and one spacious bathroom. Spacious living room with open kitchen. The bus 870 stop just infront on the hotel. 20mins drive to the river or town.

The location was super for a number of reasons - 15mins on the train to Bregenz which is the doorway to Lake Constance and all it had to offer. Access to the mountains of Karren and Seilbahn Bezau. The forest and waterfall walking trail of Rappenloch. The gorgeous town centre of Dornbirn, etc etc. The hotel was in very close proximity to the train station as well. Breakfast was excellent, the room clean and spacious. The staff friendly and welcoming.

Hotel Engel Alberschwende offers a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer, a sauna and a steam cabin. A ski bus stops right outside.
