The Backstuba was wonderful with wonderful hosts, we took a liking to them and would definitely stay here again, if the mountain was a little more suitable for us. Otherwise I have nothing negative to say about the place other than the noisy neighbors, but you can't help that I guess.

The apartment we had was just amazing. Having panoramic view, big terrace, super spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty and there is also a welcoming drink offered by the host. The host is very welcoming.

I would say : 1. perfect host - friendly, open to any need, warm people 2. cleanness - every day change linen, towels (if you choose) 3. very large & conform room, very large bathroom & confortable. All inside is new & modern. 4. sauna enough for the needs - not too large - limited hours 16:00 - 19:30 5. Very good Wi-fi , quiet room (entire region is quiet) 6. Very good breakfast & delicious with a large variety of food 7. Incredible big number of parking places for all the rooms - maybe 15+ parking places 8. Room available for ski & ski boots 9. Books available to read - really appreciated

We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The location is perfect, right in the centre and next to the bus stop. The staff were incredible, from reception to housekeeping, everyone was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The highlight was definitely the pool, which had three different jet features, plus two great saunas. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and it was delicious. There was a great mix of Austrian and international dishes, at good value. Our room had a stunning mountain view (which isn’t hard given Galtür’s location). The boot room also had room for both skis AND snowboards (a rare find). Would absolutely stay here again!
