We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

It was just perfect. We did not want to cook but the kitchen was so inspiring that we were soon in the spar nearby to get some materials and then we had a delicious self made dinner. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious.

Located near a beautiful walk in the Raggaschlucht. Quiet place, in nature, you can hear the sound of a small stream during the night. The place is super well equipped, with an attention to detail, comfortable, clean, practical and welcoming. Thanks for the nice stay!

The views were incredible. Beautiful balcony and sun terrace, perfect for relaxing with a beer or coffee. The house was very well equipped. Stunning bathroom and bathtub views. Great space on the upper floor for relaxing with a fire and music from the Bose Bluetooth speaker. There was so much history and character. Friendly and responsive hosts. Great location near to several hiking trails. Good information folder on the local area. We would love to return and stay again soon.

A fantastic, well equipped and very comfortable apartment. It was also very spacious and there was a washing machine in the large bathroom. The kitchen had a bean to cup coffee machine which was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and communication with the owner was very good.

Exceptional panorama, real farmhouse, a friendly family who welcomes you. It was so calm and so cozy. Stunning views and route towards the place. A farm breakfast is also worth mentioning.

Hotel is large and during our stay busy. Coach delivery of guests during evening and morning collection resulted in a lot of people traffic. Breakfast was good choice, evening meals were fine. Parking outside was busy Motorcycles and car parking at times and walkers enjoyed the hotel. The Hotel is located on a hill and for some walking may prove hard outside hotel grounds.
