Everywhere clean and very pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner is very high culinary affair which will energize you for the whole day. Visited as a surprise gift for my girlfriend. We celebrated her birthday sooner, as she leaves abroad for longer time. It was a perfect stay. Staff was extremely friendly and prepared a celebration gift for us in a form of prosecco. Extremely nice gesture that was nicely appreciated. The hotel itself is cozy, only few floors with a decent amount of rooms. The breakfast is small but it is sufficient and included fresh herbal teas, jams and fresh honeycomb that you could just take and eat (Awesome). Hotel also has a wellness area with steam room, relaxation room, sauna and outdoor natural pool. It was exactly what you expect from the place after a whole day of hiking in the nearby mountains. What we loved the most is the spectacular view from the room, which overlooked the valley. That was something we have never seen before and we already visited a fair amount of 4-5 star hotels around Austria. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who is on a lookout for a cozy small hotel with friendly staff and wants to feel the calmness of the Alps.

The location is simply breathtaking, the room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Frau and Herr Ratgeb are wonderful hosts, very polite and friendly. Our German knowledge is quite poor but we got by nevertheless. The dinners were absolutely fantastic: Austrian cuisine is not particularly famous, so it took us by surprise how delicious every meal that we tried here was (and we aren't people who are easily impressed when it comes to food).
