Laurence, the host of the property was unable to meet us on the day we arrived but he messaged me with very explicit instructions and gaining entry to the appartment was easy and stress free. You enter through a downstairs garage and up a wooden staircase, but when you enter the appartment I must say that it definitely has the wow factor. An enormous open plan living room, dining room and kitchen are the first things you will see, together with a bathroom and bedroom off to one side. There are further bedrooms and a bathroom on the next level but as it was just the two of us staying we didn't bother to explore too much up there. A small outside furnished balcony completes the picture and overall I would definitely score this appartment an A star. We travelled to Laruns from Spain over the Pyrenees and the scenery is spectacular. The town of Laurens is very nice with enough bars and restaurants to keep you happy. We also travelled over to the next village of Eaux Bannes and did a short walk called the Promenade Horizontal, and the views over the valley back to Laurens are breathtaking. We wish we could have stayed more than one night in this fabulous accommodation and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

Excellent one-night stay! The house is gorgeous and well maintained. I especially appreciated the jacuzzi bath after a long day cycling in the region, and the view onto the mountains is breathtaking. You can dip your feet (or more if you're adventurous!) in the stream across the street. Accommodating hosts and my only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Would recommend hands down.

What a lovely self-contained rustic-style cabin right in the town. Pierre and Anais made everything as comfortable as possible for us. The large covered deck almost doubled our living, perfect if you're a family. It was quiet, bright and airy and the air-conditioning was very welcome in the heatwave, 35°.

View of Gourette basin is incredible! And sitting on the balcony in the sun in shorts and a t-shirt on Christmas day... Felt like I was back home in Australia.
