I could not recommend this place enough to stay if you are coming to Lake Como. Ideally located, you can walk 5 minutes to the train station and easily get a train two stops to Varenna and then travel around from there. The owners are both very friendly and helpful - they allowed us to check in early when we arrived. Our train back to Lecco was cancelled when we were leaving and the owners drove us to Lecco with no charge! The Rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The room design is modern and very comfortable, and they are cleaned each day. It is genuinely fantastic for the price you pay. We ate in the hotels restaurant on our last night and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

A quiet place in a quiet town. Very close to the station, and no, you can't hear trains or the road. Located on a ground floor with a private entry, no staircases. A feeling you've got to an italian home and it's all for you. And of course, a very careful hostess. Thank you!

Very nice hosts. Big appartement with living room and kitchen separate and with a lot of extras like more towels, toiletries and I specifically liked the free bicycle. Nice green surroundings.

Rita and the staff are excellent hosts. The breakfast is delicious, and the property offers a peaceful atmosphere with a fantastic view.

The Meridiana is a small family-run hotel offering direct access to Lake Como from its garden, and 2 terraces. Rooms are compact and cosy.

The setting at the edge of the water was beautiful. Our balcony, just a few meters from the lake. All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. We have already recommended Hoel Meridiana to others, and if we ever go back to Lake Como, we would not consider staying any other place!

came from Australia, found this was up around 10 stairs from the main wharf, perfect spot for everything. Staff were great.

The apartment is very nice and the view is incredible, and looks exactly like in the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The host was also very friendly and accommodating. What I would recommend for people arriving without a car and carrying luggage, is to book a taxi in advance because generally in the Lake Como region taxis are rather rare and the way to the accommodation is a little steep.
