This was a really great find. We weren't expecting much in terms of service, given it's remote location, but we were pleasantly surprised. The property was lovely and the food was excellent. Our room backed onto the outside of the bar, and I was worried about noise, as they had music playing outside, but this went of at 9pm on the dot. There were also signs to say they didn't tolerate noise after 9pm, which we were really grateful for. The only thing I would mention was we were encouraged to book for dinner before we got there, but this wasn't really necessary as you can order at the bar. Actually, there were more choices of food at the bar, including basics like nachos, which were cheaper than the restaurant. Dinner was excellent tho, and the portions were big.

The attention to detail within the Lodge is exceptional. Fabulous communication prior to our arrival as well. Gorgeous location between Wanaka and Queenstown. Absolutely worth staying overnight.

The location is absolutely stunning; very private and driving up to the place is magical. The accommodation is spacious, but it's always a bit tricky to fit 2 suitcases. The bathroom was fine, and the kitchen was well equipped with both cooking tools and with breakfast, although the cooking tools were a bit outdated. Location is pretty good and easy to reach - in between Wanaka (20 min drive) and Queenstown (50 min drive) - and there's enough hikes and sightseeing in the direct area too. There's a cool outdoor area with a hottub and pool.

Tastefully modern Decore. Clean and tidy. More spacious than it looks. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool and spa. A little further away than where we planned to stay (in Wanaka) but picturesque drives which enabled us to access Arrowtown, Wanaka and QT easily enough. So so glad we opted to stay here rather than something in Wanaka at a similar price. Easy stroll to the iconic Cardrona Hotel.

we travelled as a group of 8 for the rhythm & alps festival on New Year’s Eve. the accomodation provided was fantastic, well exceeded our expectations.. the photos don’t do it justice, the property is very spacious and has all the bells and whistles you could imagine! air fryer, coffee machine, UE boom (awesome bonus), board games and plenty of kitchenware to cook with to name a few. we met the owners on the day we arrived and they were very lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. location to the festival was perfect being only 5mins away in the cardrona valley, and 20mins to Wanaka town centre, would highly recommend this place! perfect for summer as well as winter for skiing I’m sure. thank you!
