I liked everything: the room, the furniture, the central heating, the bathroom, the cleanliness, the mattress, the welcome (free) tea / coffee, the decoration, the breakfast (not included but with great food for a fabulous price), and the sympathy and availability of the staff.

The swimming pool is amazing. We really appreciated using the pool and the garden when we came back from our trips from mountains. The staff are very nice, Mr. Berne and his family should be very proud of his family business. Everything was perfect.

First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! Highly recommended.

The location was superb! Close to local shops, turist information, pubs, restaurants, petrol station all within 1 min walk. Close to starting points for popular hikes. The apartament was good size with super comfy bed. Shower amazing - water pressure and the quality of water soo soft! Balcony with amazing mountain views. We absolutely loved it and stay there again if we ever have a chance to visit Serra da Estrela again!

The hoast was fantastic, helpfull and assisting with any needs or advices we had or asked. The accomodation is based in small village where the old houses are renewed and arranged in traditional look. The restaurant is close by, it's specious and breakfast choice is very good. Recomendation to anyone who visits Serra de Estrella. Owner has several dogs and they are all around, very friendly.
