Very comfortable room with a mini fridge. Exceptional breakfast with great variety and eggs ordered to your liking. Location within several minutes walk to lake. Staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness,kindness, and recommendations.

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

Small train station adjacent to hotel made for a convenient (and Old World) arrival. Breakfast was a choice of gourmet dishes; dinner was an array of local and seasonal dishes. Wine tasting was beyond my expectations. View was an ever-changing panorama of the lake. When it was dry, it was an easy walk to Bled along the lake path, an easy 30 minute walk to the Gorge and about two hours to walk around the entire lake. When it rained, I spent lazy days enjoying the indoor pool, sauna and cozy bar downstairs (best place to read) - all of which had unobstructed views to the lake. Staff were wonderful; facilities and room were immaculate yet homey (this is the only hotel I've stay at with Persian rugs in the elevator). It was like being a pampered guest at a family estate.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The photos don’t do justice. The apartment was just wonderful. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The only thing missing was a freezer. We prepared several meals there. We enjoyed using the terrace in the evening, having a drink or playing board games. Parking was next to the apartment. Perfect location. Can easily walk to Lake Bled, restaurants etc.

This is probably the best place you could pick if travelling to Bled. Located in a village 20-30 mins walking from the lake. It felt much better and quieter to stay there than in the crowded Bled to be fair. The first thing we noticed was the stunning Mountain view right from our balcony. Then I have to mention the garden and house itself. It was very clean and beautiful. And of course the hosts. Tamara and Andrew were very welcoming, gave us a lot of tips of where to go and what to do. Also, you can order really good breakfast from local farmers. Overall I believe that it is the best spot to stay in Bled, and we will definitely come back again

The house was very spacious and with plenty of space inside and outside, ideal for families or a big group of friends. It's located very close to Bled's lake (5 minutes walk) and in a very quiet area. Never met the host but he provided all the information we needed and was available for any questions.
