The hotel room was equipped with everything we needed, self catered all 4 nights and had oven, toaster, fridge etc, all appliances as well as salt and pepper! and washing up tablets/liquid!! ski storage was also convenient

The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 3-star guest house. Hiking, walking tours and pub crawls are possible within the area, and the guest house offers ski storage space. Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

We were met by the host who is lovely, the apartment is spotless and really quite a good size with everything you need for your stay. The beds are super comfy and the shower is hot and powerful at all times and the apartment is always warm. Location is perfect for the village and everything is just a short stroll away with Car parking right outside. We would definitely stay there again

Guests can get to the Schatzbergbahn Ski Lift with the ski bus that stops 300 meter from the hotel every 15 minutes. The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau Ski Area is a 3-minute drive away. Cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking paths lead directly from Alpenchalet Almrose. Fantastic stay! Delicious breakfast, exceptionally hospitable hosts, and spotless, modern rooms. Highly recommended!

In winter, it is located directly at the ski slope and next to ski lifts, a ski school, a toboggan run, winter hiking trails, a cross-country ski run, and a stop of the free ski bus. Spotless apartment, new furniture, lovely and helpful people.
