The area is popular for hiking, cycling, Nordic walking and skiing. Bike hire is available at Hostel Lukna. The hostel was exceptionally clean. The host was kind and very friendly. I visited Mojstrana by myself in wintertime, without a car. The hostel has an easy access by bus and seems a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts. The town has a big grocery, so no need to carry much. :) As it was low season, I had the luxury to stay by myself in a cozy room. The tiny details of the old, recycled, beautiful materials for some furnitures was a nice extra touch. Hvala lepa in na svidane!

The location was great, 3-5 minutes from Bus stop, 2-3 minutes from a great pizzeria and 10-15 minutes walk from the castle. The breakfast was great and had quality products, the rooms were clean and spacious and next to the lake as well. The staff were kind and fast as well. Would visit again!

Ljubljana Airport and the ski centres at Kranjska Gora, Vogel and Krvavec are all within a 35 km radius. A very welcoming host who gave us valuable tips for our stay and marked everything on the map. The location is just a few minutes from Lake Bled. Excellent spacious parking. Beautiful view from the room. The balcony has flowers, a table, and chairs. The house has a stunning design — we were especially impressed by the kitchen and its details, including a real stove decorated with gorgeous ceramic tiles. There’s a kettle, coffee, and tea available. The breakfast was outstanding — everything was incredibly delicious: meat, chees, yogurts, fresh fruits, home pastries. They also offer eggs cooked to your preference, and even some tasty pickled cucumbers.

The hotel restaurant offers modern interpretations of traditional Slovene cuisine with locally sourced ingredients, while the Aperitif bar provides a selection of desserts and hot beverages. Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

Hotel Triglav Bled is located above Bled’s rowing centre. The centre of Bled is 1.5 km away. It can be easily reached on foot by walking on the lakeside trail. The view were amazing, the staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast really great and delicous. Absolutely recommend.
