I loved this hotel! A perfect, extremely central location in the town, with its own car park and lovely beach/deck, on the lake shore. The hotel buildings are characterful and (not ostentatiously, but) stylishly furnished. Everything is immaculately clean. The staff - from the gentleman who directed me into my parking space, to the receptionists, to the restaurant staff - were all warm, helpful and courteous. Oh, and the breakfast was excellent and in a beautiful courtyard/garden location. And with very good coffee! I could not fault it. Thank you!

Everything! The best hosts in Carinthia, super dedicated! Great kitchen, from breakfast (coffee!!, fresh eggs) to fine-dining type dinner! Experiencing the real Carinthia, off the crowded places at the lake, guests benefit from a luxury spa (scenic sauna, indoor pool), luxurious outdoors (huge outdoor pool), great views and complete silence. Renovated in 2017 and surrounded by a large landscaped garden, Vitalhotel Marienhof enjoys a peaceful location a 10-minute walk from Lake Wörthersee and the centre of Velden.

Very well maintained hotel, clean, quiet. Stayed here during Worthersee Gravel Race, so hotel seemed to have its first weekend due to the race. However, that was great as I was allowed to use the room until after the race. Very friendly receptionist Edi helped tons, I really appreciated his help and understanding of letting me leave bike in the room also. Breakfast was simple but good, but again being beginning of season is understandable.

Only 2 km away from Lake Wörth, this family-run hotel enjoys a sunny hillside location above Velden and offers beautiful views of the Karawanken mountains.
