The hotel was amazing, one of the best stays in our lives. The room was super comfortable, modern and quite big. There was a bath and a shower in the room. Big terrace. The facilities were so great - gym and spa, the breakfast area, just perfect. You could register each morning for free yoga classes! The location is super central just a couple of minutes walk to the railway station. The grocery store is 5 min walk.

The hotel is amazing! If you are looking to plan a visit to Zermatt, stay here! We stayed in the deluxe double room which had the most amazing views of the matterhorn from the window and balcony. The hotel is in such a nice location! It was so peaceful and is right next to the cable cars and gorner gorge - a perfect spot to set off from. The staff are lovely and all super helpful! Having celiac disease makes travelling a bit more difficult but they catered for me and ensured that I had gluten free options. They even had a seperate gluten free only toaster! The spa which is included in the price was perfect after an adventurous day exploring the mountains. The facilities are amazing and this hotel really made our trip to Zermatt even more special.

We had a truly wonderful stay. There is strictly nothing negative to say about our short spell at the Matterhorn Lodge. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, cosy, but with modern facilities. Spa was also super clean and welcoming. Staff were ultra nice, and came to pick us from the train station, even though we were actually just a short walk away. Breakfast was wonderful, and we were both sad to leave. We literally can't wait to go back!
