From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The service was warm and attentive, the location just steps from the beach was unbeatable, and the food – simply delicious every single day! Surfing with the kids was such a fun experience – safe, exciting, and unforgettable. And for the little animal lovers: the resort is full of wildlife! We saw monkeys, raccoons, adorable squirrels, and even iguanas. If you’re looking for relaxation, comfort, adventure, and a welcoming atmosphere for the whole family, this is the place to be. The staff and location at Ocho Bungalows are excellent. The property is located directly on the beach with walking to everything in Tamarindo. Jose, Sebastian and Miguel were very attentive, as well as all employees at the resort. We ate most of our meals at the resort, and the food is very good. There is a small private pool with a view of the beach, which was very relaxing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. This is a very unique and special boutique resort.

There was a relaxed flow to the day on the resort with large windows of time to go to the free buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and with plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the rest of the day. In between there was life around the pool area and I particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics as well as reading at the beach cafe where you could be mesmerised with both the ocean and the swimming pool area at the same time. Dipping in and out of the pool througout the day was great as well as the sunsets down at the beach.
