IrelandWonderful, Lovely staff, very friendly especially Alannah, Dagga(possibly not spelt correctly apologies) John, and both staff that were working in the church restaurant on the Sunday night (sorry didn't get their names, a lad with red hair and a young lady wearing glasses) Our meal was delicious in the restaurant. The above members of staff were so polite and when I'd asked for anything nothing was too much trouble.. We felt so welcome the loveliest staff I've dealt with in a hotel setting💞
The hotel is absolutely stunning! The chandeliers oh my I have never seen anything like them, breathtaking! Our room was beautifully decorated & in keeping with the vintage of the property as was the whole hotel. We stayed in the Lady Norbury suite what a fabulous room! Spotlessly clean everything about it was pristine my only niggle was the pillows were too soft and flattened out(but that's just me I like a firmer pillow) The breakfast was absolutely delicious! There was so much food from the medley of fruit/cheeses/pastries/soda bread to the different breakfast dishes to choose from: full Irish which inc 2 bacon 2 eggs(choice of what way cooked) 2 sausages black & white puddings mushrooms tomato fried potatoes. Toast, tea/coffee, orange juice, Then there were kippers, pancakes, omelette, eggs Benedict, other dishes that I can't remember now but the choice was huge there is something for everyone and you won't come away hungry that's for sure! There's a wellness centre on site, walks if that's your thing, our room had such lovely views of the garden, & it's about 5 minutes into letterkenny town a busy town with an array of different shops pubs restaurants... Honestly if you are reading this review regarding a possible stay at Rockhill house just go for it! I can assure you, you will not be disappointed! It's a fabulous place we loved our two night stay and will definitely return again sometime...
