We've spent an awesome time at this gorgeous place. One can enjoy the sunrise at the lake and the sunset at the beach is in only a few minutes walking distance reachable. It's a very peaceful place to relax. The owner and staff are very friendly and hospitable. We can highly recommend this accomodation.

We booked the family room. Good spacious room. The washroom was also spacious with good water pressure. You do get the sea view from the room through huge glass doors. The balcony was really awesome with great views of the sea. The balcony has a traditional Kerala style sitting area. The sea is hardly 50 meters from the room. Cherai is known for the gentle nature of the sea. The property is managed by Unni, who was very helpful and pleasant. There is a restaurant 'Shivettante kada' downstairs. Great sea food at very affordable rates. All in all a great experience.

What a wonderful "find." The GM - Antony, has a knack for hiring a most sincere & efficient staff. Everyone was "super nice" & friendly. Great food -service w/a smile. Traditional Kerala cuisine - complementary breakfast w/many choices. Fresh fruit & U may order eggs & toast & there's a small buffet w/South Indian "delights". Ocean front or Garden views.

the couple that owns the place , gives the tone; superfriendly , laid back and charming. we stay in the anex bungalow , a beauty all in teck... the beach is ,purer elax , beautiful , very old india,unpretentious and the staff is lovely, the food is very home style south India , experience truly off the beating path.
