Beautiful resort in the best location in North Goa. Cottages are very spacious and very well decorated. The cottages area is beautiful and very private with lots of greenery and just 1 minute away from the beach. Great food and drinks in the bar with a chill out area where you can relax in your balinese bed just in front of the sea. Staff and hotel management are very professional and polite. Top service.

Our five days at Double Tree Goa was outstanding, it was our best hotel experience during our six week adventure across India. Our room was immaculate and spacious, luxuriously appointed, and with a serene and calming view across the river. The pool was absolutely wonderful. We ate all meals for five days at the restaurant and they were all fabulous - great variety, very tasty, and beautifully presented. On some occasions, food was specially prepared for us. But most importantly, all the staff - absolutely all - were just outstanding. They were so kind, polite, good humoured, and attentive. Sadly, we were both quite unwell while staying at the hotel due to a nasty stomach infection that we both picked up just before we arrived in Goa. We relied heavily on the staff to take care of us for a number of days, including arranging a doctor on Christmas Eve and a visit to hospital on Christmas Day. During this difficult time, we felt like we were genuinely looked after, not just "managed". Staff were incredibly available and patient with us during this stressful time. Above all we felt safe in a foreign land - you cannot put a price on this.

As beautiful as the property was and its proximity to both the beach and airport, what we have to say we LOVED the most was the hospitality of all the staff we interacted with. They all took the time to make each of us feel like VIPs and make our stay as comfortable as possible. A very special shout out to Chef Nike and the e tire restaurant staff who prepared a special meal for us based on our conversation about food the previous evening. Again, everything was wonderful but it’s the people that are making us already plan our return trip.

The service is 6/5. They made us feel very welcome. At Vivanta, you feel like a very special guest. Whatever you need, just ring the 24/7 reception, and it will be in your room within a minute. The team promptly arranged taxis at the last minute - the hotel cab was available for us at all times, and has saved us a lot of worries dealing with the local taxis. The driver has been very kind, and accompanied us on our adventures around Goa. They also gave us some advice on visiting local beaches, exchanged currency directly in the hotel, and made sure we have everything we need. We also got a room with an amazing jungle view.

The property was in a great location right beside the beach. The lobby was stunning and made the most of sunsets. The facilities were great and the hotel staff made our stay perfect and very special.
