The location is exceptional with great view This is a proper Agriturismo, something extremely difficult to find in Italy. They do really serve you the food they produce and they are proud of it and rightly so The restaurant offer you a real taste of Italian local (Umbria) food no if no but. All food it is superb but, in case you'll find it on the menu just ask for "Coratella" (starter) alongside one of their grilled dish (main) Their olive oil is what a farmer would call olive oil, forget the shelf filled with bottles having some green liquid inside. Once you have tried their olive oil you'll understand what you had so far was far from being olive oil The staff (owner included, Alessandro) are there to make you enjoy your stay and ready to help you out. Having worked as a waiter I can ensure their service it is well above excellent. The pool is clean, and they also have a small bar there where you can get a drink without running to the restaurant and offer the possibility of enjoy a superb beer they produce. Also, in case you like ice cream yogurt then you are in the right place to get the best I have ever had All the family enjoyed the stay, dog included! When we left we could not go if not by taking with us some of their olive oil, their soap and a good selection of their jam

The hotel was very good and has everything needed to have a fantastic stay which we obviously had over the Christmas period. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two even though we had their normal economy double room. The food from breakfast which had a big selection from hot to cold was great and dinner was fantastic along with the service by the restaurant staff. Always polite, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The facilities were spot on with a lovely garden area. Undercover spacious parking lot which was a nice surprise. The free use of the indoor pool was great and if needed also Spa facilities with reasonable prices but we did not use these so cannot comment. We booked the Christmas Eve set dinner and the Christmas Day set lunch which both were fantastic and we were so pleased we booked these, it made our Christmas that little bit more special, so a big thank you to all the restaurant staff, the chefs and kitchen staff, we appreciated all your efforts. The bar area was very comfortable with lots of room to sit and reflect on the day's activities. The bar service by "the best barman in the world" 😊 who was always very friendly and made you feel like you had known him forever! Although this goes for all the staff from the reception to the restaurant staff and the cleaners, I couldn't speak highly enough of them all. The free shuttle service into Assisi (5 minutes) 4 times a day was excellent and saved a 20 minute walk which is a bit hilly, so was very much appreciated for us. The price was also very reasonable for such a lively Hotel. Many many thanks to everyone at the BV Grand Hotel Assisi for making our Christmas stay so comfortable and memorable, we will definitely return in the new year and will recommend the hotel to all our friends.

Beautiful location, great swimming pool, good breakfast and wonderful staff, especially Angela who runs it - very kind and helpful.

The hotel is impeccable, breakfast is always interesting and unbelievably tasty, staff are always helpful, friendly and approachable (big thanks to Carlo Maria at the reception for all the advice and help with the luggage, his smile and warm professionalism made us feel at home, and to Berta and Giorgio who made sure we had everything we needed every morning at the breakfast ❤️), rooms are cleaned daily, pool is refreshing and the deck is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the sounds of nature. Nights are not hot so a good night's rest is guaranteed, but it might get loud on the weekends when there are garden dinner parties (nothing a pair of earplugs can't solve). We will definitely be coming again!
