PolandThis hotel is simply superb! It is big and spacious. Located in the middle of nowhere, that is in the Akan-Mashu National Park on the shore of the Kussharo Lake, it includes plenty of attractions for guests to stay on its premises. A game arcade, karaoke rooms, a convenience store, wooden chairs in the backyard... It is an easy ride to local lakes and hiking trails. The room was big, modern, well equipped, clean. The majority of staff spoke English, everyone was super kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast buffets, although pricey, were amaizng, versatile, delicious. We had an amazing stay there.

We loved sitting on the bench gazing at the river hoping to see animals. We did see a fox and a racoon. The hinoki bath tub was nice especially when the window was open to let in the breeze and sound of gushing river. Room was spacious with very good layout. Beds were comfortable.
