There is shuttle service available at Mt Fuji station for those who do not drive. The place looked great. We managed to have a clear view of Mt Fuji in the morning and it was breathtaking. There was even a brief moment when the Mt Fuji turned pink in the morning during sunrise. The hot spring and shower area looked like a private bathhouse. Food was normal and enough for us, but you can consider bringing additional food and snacks. There were A LOT of free beverages.

Very nice modern Hotel, with perfect mix of japanese Style rooms and western comfort (f.e. western bed). Onsen was nice and also gym brand new. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Japan.

Incredible view of Mt Fuji from nearly everywhere in the hotel! We had the French dinner which was incredible and the breakfast was pretty good as well. The private onsen is great if you want to relax with your other half but the regular baths are also very nice if you don’t want to pay extra or if it is fully booked. The staff are very friendly and the shuttle bus to and from the station made getting there very easy.

The entire house is beautiful: it has both modern and traditional parts. It’s very cozy and perfect for a couple. We truly enjoyed our stay and the private onsen is just amazing! It’s also in front of the station, so public transport is extremely near. You can also see Fuji-san from the living room’s window on the last floor! We hope to come back one day, it was magical.

Super friendly staff. Remarkable attention to details. It was the first buffet breakfast in Japan with detailed information about allergenics in every dish. My family had a challenging time managing children's allergies travelling around the country, and the way Highland displayed this information was an enormous relief for us.
