Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

From the moment we arrived, our stay at this stunning villa was nothing short of perfection. The property itself is immaculate—spacious, beautifully designed, and sparkling clean. Every corner of the villa exudes comfort and elegance, making it the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The pool was a true highlight—crystal-clear, inviting, and the perfect place to enjoy sunny afternoons or a peaceful evening swim. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible team that looked after us. Robert, the concierge, was a true gem—always available, endlessly helpful, and so warm and accommodating. Whether we needed recommendations, transport, or simply a friendly face to check in with, Robert was there with a smile and a solution. Duncan, the chef, completely wowed us with every meal. Each dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with passion. Dining at the villa became one of our favorite parts of the day thanks to his culinary talents. Faith, the housekeeper, ensured everything was always spotless and fresh. She worked quietly and efficiently, and her attention to detail made the entire experience feel effortless and luxurious. And Susan, the house manager, was simply amazing—kind, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure we were comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. This villa is more than just a beautiful place—it’s a full experience, elevated by an extraordinary team who go above and beyond in every way. Very friendly and hospitable staff, clean rooms and facilities, amazing views of the ocean, serene and private. Antonia (host) was always on hand to assist in case of any issues and easily reachable and went out of her way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Small extra touches such as daily change of flowers in the rooms, new fruits placed in the fridge every day was so thoughtful and much appreciated. The food was always freshly made and the candlelit night dinner by the pool was so romantic and enjoyable.

The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel at home right away. I had forgotten to put in my booking that we had our 1 year old daughter with us and the staff were not fazed at all. We arrived very late but they had thought ahead to ask the driver who collected us from Mombasa to take our order for dinner so there was food for us when we arrived even though the kitchen had closed. The hotel is really beautiful and has an amazing view of the sea. The way the sunbeds and pool is laid out it feels like you are on the beach without actually being on the beach. If you wish to get in the sea it is just down some steps. The staff helped us with all encounters with the hawkers on the beach. It is definitely the most beautiful of the resorts in the area that we saw online and in real life when we explored the area. It looks exactly like the pictures which I have found is not always the case with hotels on booking.com. The food was really good and was much better than what we had been eating on safari and in Nairobi. The highlights were the prawns and tuna. We would have enjoyed a little more variety and African influenced food on the menu but there were daily specials which hit the spot. The staff did seem a little hurt when we had dinner out one night (there's a really good Korean restaurant just at the end of the driveway to the hotel). As the hotel is so small it is understandable that they would want you to eat/spend money with them rather than elsewhere.

I can't thank the staff at the Maji enough for all of the ways they made my time with them so wonderful. Communication before and during my visit was excellent, especially when I had to deal with travel delays due to awful weather. They went out of their way to make my birthday a very special occasion. The large room was perfect, and I even enjoyed a relaxing soaking bath. Meals were served with excellent and attentive service, and the beach beds were made with care and comfort.

The food was a highlight—delicious, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the resort has several clean and warm pools, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were polite, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth the money. Overall, we would recommend this resort.
