This is a wonderful boutique hotel, literally on the most stunning stretch of beach, a long golden stretch of sand and super quiet. All the staff were so hospitable and friendly. The rooms were large, bight and well appointed, the pool is gorgeous and there is lots of space to sit and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.

1.3 km from Ambalangoda Beach, The Vitamin Sea is a recently renovated property located in Ambalangoda and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Well located, close to the main street of Ambalangoda. Delicious breakfast too. Our children loved playing in the pool, and we all felt very welcomed. Excellent value - highly recommended! :-)

This three days have been perfect! The whole team is so friendly, kind, helpful and they like to have a chat with you, if you want to. the kitchen did a fantastic job! the breakfast and also the dinner was amazing! one morning, in front of our hotel, there were fishermans fishing. We bought a fish from them and the chef cooked it on the evening for us. Great experience! the hotel, room, pool and beach is very nice. great to spend time there.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Amazing resort, with wonderful, big, green property next to the amazing beach. Garden is quite spacious, with the open view of the ocean and sunsets. Lounge chaies are spread around the gardens, so you can enjoy the conversations with your fellow guests, or choose the remote corners for the peace and tranquility and enjoying sound of waves on your own, or with your partner. The pool is very large, and never crowded, as this 10-room resort offers plenty of space to make you feel very comfortable. If resort is full, make sure to get the lounge chair early, but if you are not there all the time, you can finnd your stuff moved away by some rude guest. Beach so beautiful, as it breaks the monotony of the long beach with massive boulders right in front of resort. Rooms are very nice, but lower priced rooms are little bit smaller than expected. Nevertheless, the bathroom is wonderful and spacious and both are very well designed. One thing that is missing in those rooms is privacy of the balcony. Breakfast is wonderful starting with the fruit platter, bakery basket and then a-la-carte option, which is second to none, with local and international variety. Dinner menu is not huge, but with well chosen dishes and affordable. Definitely a place to visit again.

Very nice bungallow in jungle with a private beach! The owner a very king lady and stuff very friendly! The food is very tasty, I felt like in the movies near by ocean!
