Friendly and welcoming staff, good food, kids loved it! It’s aperfect for families for a few days getaway. Unfortunately spent only one night here but we had a great experience.

The location was picturesque, staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the stay was really comfortable with all the comforts that you'd expect in any good hotel. As a minor detail, I loved the fragrance of the toiletries provided. This place gives you a great value for the money you spend on it.

Having been fortunate enough to have stayed at the hotel and been the only guests for 3 out of the 8 days we were there. This gave us a unique experience of the hotel and the staff. We felt like we had our own private hotel. The hotel has a very local feel to it with an impression of being submerged in the forest surrounded by greenery. So much wildlife and the sound of the ocean constant crashing on the beach The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome comfortable and at home. As an eco hotel with full board we were not sure how it would be and if we would enjoy the experience. The locally sourced fresh food was amazing and could not be faulted. We could not help but leave empty plates after every meal. We would highly recommend viewing the video on the iPad provided in the room. This will give you a better idea of the resort and how it works. If travelling with younger kids or fussy eaters the hotel was very flexible and help making some simple foods for it 4 year old son. We were lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka at New Year and the team were very kind to arrange a special breakfast and involve us with the traditional ceremonies, celebrations and games and even planting the trees❤️ After this vacation we felt so comfortable we almost felt like we were at home. I’m sure everyone has different experiences and when visiting new places but our was just perfect for us. We would highly recommend this resort to any of our friends or anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka. We would like to thank our hosts, again, for the amazing time we had in the Ravana Garden resort! Will be back for sure ♥️

Lovely hosts, we booked the breakfast and dinner option. The breakfast was huge, and the dinner menu had many options to choose from. It was great to come back from the safari and not have to worry about going out somewhere for dinner. I read on a post recently that someone said they had no hot water. Our bathroom had two shower heads, one was just a cold shower, the other hand held shower was connected to what looked like an instantaneous hot water system and we had as much hot water as we needed. We also booked an all day safari through the accommodation, which I would rate 10 out of 10. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver/guide spotted so many animals for us, he didn't rush around like some vehicles around us, our driver even assisted another bogged vehicle while the other vehicles around us just drove past the bogged vehicle. Seeing some of the safari Jeeps that day, some were clearly unroadworthy and with cracked windows that would have limited their clients ability to see well. If you are considering a safari I would highly recommend using a reliable service with a great reputation like this one as I would definitely not have wanted to be in some of those vehicles. PS we didn't get to see a lepord, but we did see a Sloth Bear which apparently are unusual to see at Yala normally.

Amazing stay with sea and surrounded by natures and green "Kalametiya Lagoon Bird Sanctuary & Wetland Park". Authetin Srilankan and English breakfast both are excellent, in addtion their fresh fruits are mind blowing.

The service. It was fantastic and better than some 5 star hotels. Sanjeewa and his aunt went out of the way to take care of me and my family and prepared some delicious authentic Srilankan food as lunch and breakfast. The property itself is so well kept and faces the rice paddy field. We also booked the safari through them and got to see so many animals. Because we traveled with out 80 yr old grandma, they were extra careful which really helped. If we visit again, we will surely only stay at this Guest house.

One of the best experiences ever in a hotel! The staff was amazing - helpful and super friendly, beach was quite private, rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Couldn't have wished for a better experience.
