We stayed at Serene Villa for four nights and can not recommend it enough. It is so well kept and the staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel is up a small hill, five minutes from Hiriketiya Beach. Dickwella Beach is approximately a ten minute walk. I had hurt my foot so I had to go by tuk-tuk and twice the hotel staff drove me to the beach for free. The room was lovely and spacious. The pool area is in a shady area which makes it perfect for a morning or afternoon swim. They also arrange yoga in the rooftop which I had gladly participated in if it hd not been for my foot. The breakfast was great with all the basic stuff you would expect plus some extra features that varied from day to day. We would have loved to stay longer!

Very authentic spot. This is a 2nd time I visited Hiriketiya and I decided to stay at Dots again simply because the place is unlike any other hostel/hotels in the area. It's right on the beach, so you wake up and jump in the sea, and if you prefer pool it has one right in the middle of the jungle which makes it so relaxing. Rooms are super clean and comfortable, had the best sleep in ages. The food is always delicious and plenty of healthy options. I recommend granola for breaky and prawn curry for lunch 🤤 Staff is probably the best part of Dots, always smiling and happy to help with anything you need.

I highly recommend this place. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and it was so close to the beach. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place.

The Room was very nice really close to blue beach and The family living there was the best.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming 2-bedroom villa in Sri Lanka. The hosting family was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. What a little paradise! The lovely host created a beautiful place to relax and feel at home. Spacious, clean and very well equipped rooms, especially considering the low prices. Also the garden is beautiful and very well taken care of. We stayed there for a week, reading at the pool and enjoying the beach, which is a 1 min walk away. Great breakfast and the restaurant offering italian dishes was a welcome change to all the rice and curry.
