Stunning villa with great architecture ! The villa has a great location with easy access to the beach and just 10 mins away from Galle fort.. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the villa was very clean and of exceptional standard. In addition the food was amazing, we had Sri Lankan food as well as more Western cuisines and it was probably the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. Most importantly the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views overlooking the beach . Really enjoyed my stay at Candella House.

Our stay at The Divine Villa Thalpe was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care — Christophe, the owner, has truly created something special here. His attention to detail and passion for hospitality shine through in every corner of the villa. The house itself is absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of modern luxury and serene tropical charm. The interior design is beautiful. Every room was meticulously designed, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the view of the lush gardens and pool felt like a dream. The staff were beyond amazing — thoughtful, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. From the delicious meal (we took the breakfast but now wish we’d had more meals there) to the little touches throughout the day, everything was handled with grace and genuine care. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape in Sri Lanka, The Divine Villa Thalpe is just perfect. We loved every minute and didn’t want to leave. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. Absolute paradise, great houses/rooms, pure nature and far away from busy beach roads: excellent breakfast and awesome staff

We really enjoyed our stay at Tabula Rasa. The hotel is built on a mountain in the jungle and offers an amazing pool with ocean view, very tasty food with reasonable prices and beautifully designed rooms. We loved the “digital butler” app which allowed us to order food, spa or anything else very easily with our phones. Also, the Dutch owners are wonderful and the entire staff was very kind at all times. The hotel is a 20 minutes ride to Galle. You can get a tuk tuk which will be about 15 USD for the roundtrip. In summary, we can only recommend this hidden gem.

Beautiful location, love the bird life in the morning, staff very nice and helpfull. Great place to relax but close to Unawatuna for the night life.

Outstanding 5-star experience! The pool was absolutely amazing, and the views from our room were breathtaking. Everything was luxurious and perfectly maintained—highly recommended for a memorable stay.

We loved beautiful premises. Our villa was surrounded by monkeys and lizards with different birds flying around. We were very happy to choose such a nice and quiet place far-away from busy streets. Breakfast was made especially for us every morning at convenient time. Swimming pool was ideal for taking prettiest photos in it. The distance from the villa to the main beach was about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk which we ordered through pick-me application. It was much cheaper when getting on a street. We loved the villa so much, that we booked it for our next stay already.

All in all we had a wonderful stay. The green surrounding and pure nature, the super friendly staff, the food and the private lodges with very nice bath and room. We will definitely come back!
