This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely Everything - the most amazing place with the most incredible staff. Kamal and his team are absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough - easily the best place we have ever stayed driven hugely by the fantastic staff! It is like a paradise.:) Wonderful garden and beach to relax. Warm sea and nice waves to surf. Comfortable room with sea view, very kind service. Perfect combination between local and European food. We can definitely recommend Isana Beach House.

    The bedrooms were so spacious and absolutely spotless. The massage we got was very good and OK value. The hotel being on the beach was lovely and relaxing. The local Sri Lankan staff were lovely, especially the young girl who worked on reception.

    Quiet place close to Tangalle beach and to bus station. Room is spacious and fully functional (big, comfy bed, aircon, hot water…), friendly staff, small garden to relax and get breakfast… far enough to feel comfortable. Some good restaurants within short walking distance.

    My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Lankavatara and would definitely come back. The beach is stunning, the staff is really friendly and the hotel is very nice. Breakfast options and the food at the restaurant is great! The team at Lankavatara helped to organise our trip to Udawalawe and that went really well, and wife loved her massage at the spa. Can't recommend Lankavatara enough!
