There are many pools outside and always enough space no matter what time you arrive at the pool and the drinks and food is very nice by the pool. The hotel is located near shops, chemist and restaurants. The have lovely staff and the hotel was very clean.

Built on the sides of one of the valleys in Mellieha, the hotel offers exquisite views of the church, the bay, the islands of Gozo and Comino, and the village.

The Solana Hotel is hands down THE best hotel in Malta - The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, in every department. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with bathrobes, fruits and chocolates. The food in Prickly Pear and Bellini Restaurant was amazing, it tasted great and fresh! Everything was great about this hotel, impeccably clean, excellent services and lovely breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and modern. I had no issues at all and had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful and calm area of the island.

With panoramic views of St. Paul's Islands, this modern hotel offers two swimming pools, a sun terrace, a gym, a rooftop bar and a restaurant.

Where do I even start...Staff was one of the friendliest we ever encountered. We received a welcome bottle of champagne, even some fruit on another day, the rooms were made and checked twice per day, and immaculate. The rooftop pool had a fantastic view, and the restaurant there serves delicious food. If you stay during the hot weather as we did, we highly recommend a late night dip as the pool was open until 23 h. All facilities are free to use before/after check in/out, and again, staff is wonderful. The only thing we were disappointed about was breakfast as it was not on the same level as all other services...and then on the 2nd day we were asked to fill out the questionnaire on what we think about the breakfast and what would we change. I must say that we were highly impressed to see that they actually listened to those suggestions, and breakfast was from then on amazing as well. We highly recommend this hotel.
