Spa Hotels in George Town

I don't know where to start. From the time we arrived we were welcomed with the Malaysian hospitality. The manager Giri and his staff are very attentive, obliging and very knowledgeable. The check in was flawless, and we were guided to our room by one of lovely staff members. The hotel is on the newer side and is maintained very well unlike some other hotels in Penang... Our loft room was on the top floor and the design of the room was different to normal hotels. Upon entering the room the Gold and glass trimmings were absolutely beautiful. This is a 2 storey room, the shower is absolutely gorgeous, the experience is next to nothing. There is a lounge, TV area also with a small window overlooking the side street. The stair case takes you to the loft where there is a super king comfortable bed for you to rest up in. Everything is spotless, smells fresh, whitest of linen and towels. Our room stay was very comfortable. The pool is on the top floor also with the gym. The pool is something to be seen. I spent most of my time there enjoying the salt water swims, relaxing and taking in the warm Malaysian sun not forgetting to mention the awesome view from the pool deck. Don't forget to experience the sunrise on the pool deck its amazing. The hotel is in a fabulous area within the Unesco Heritage listed precinct. Take a walk and discover little hip cafes, bakeries,..traditional kopitiams, and hundreds of other little eateries. We loved Little India which was a stones throw away where we could enjoy fresh cooked meals for a small price. Armenian Street, clan jetties and lots more in the area for you to discover. The hotel also has a number of restaurants and cafes for you to relax and cool off in. Enjoy and I would highly recommend this hotel above others in the area. The hotel is a beauty on the island of Penang. The location is perfect, a few steps away from the cozy city center of George Town. The restaurant offered amazing breakfast and also dinner options. The room received faced beach view, how amazing that was. The pool on the 6th floor is very beautiful and peacefull !

From start to finish, everything was perfect, from the staff on the door, the very capable personnel at reception, the individual floor floors-and-room staff, those at the beautifully maintained pool too, the spacious and tastefully furnished rooms, the bright and airy breakfast room with its attentive service personnel, nothing beyond their capabilities, a welcoming receptionist and chef, both ready and capable of meeting and adapting to every request, all this through to help on the ground floor with directions, weather forecasts, and planning suggestions. Penang is the ultimate winner as The Millen just askd to be re-visted. We'll certainly try. Congratulations to all involved. Thank you.

Very clean and convenient location

Location (close to all the most important spots on Georgetown), delicious breakfast, nice staff, clean rooms. Absolutely perfect for reasonable price

The staff are spectacular! The moment we arrived on site with our luggage, a staff member approached and asked if we are checking in and he took care of loading our luggage while giving us directions to the reception on the 3rd floor. While we were checking in, we got complimentary icecream and our bags were brought to our room shortly after we went inside the room. Beds were king sized and comfortable, linen was clean, and the pillows were awesome! AC worked well and there us a mini fridge with complimentary drinks and some small snacks (wafer cookie and chocolate covered nuts) Black out curtains ensured we could sleep through the night (maybe set an alarm if you wanted to get up early otherwise you'll think it's still the middle of the night when it's 10am!) Breakfast buffet was a great value and some dishes and drinks changed daily. You can get nasi lemak, fried noodles, salad, assortment of pastries and bread, icecream, soup noodles, steamed buns and sticky rice, congee, and there is a coffee machine too (i didnt use it but it looked popular!) Housekeeping comes by daily and if you're in the room they will check if you'd like anything changed or the room cleaned, very friendly and kind staff. The driveway in front of the hotel lobby is managed by a security guard all day long. He works hard to direct traffic and keep things moving , especially since people are hailing cars and constantly getting picked up or dropped off. He took time to help us load up bags into our car when we were leaving and that was greatly appreciated. A minor thing was our room had some bug husks near the ceiling on one wall and it looks like the bugs are all gone, just had these old shells left behind. The front desk staff immediately got housekeeping to clear it when we mentioned it, and they also offered to change the room for us too! We stayed in the same room in the end because there was no issue with the room especially after it was all cleaned up.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! Located in the heart of Georgetown, the neighborhood offers numerous dining options, including restaurants and street food stalls, all just a few minutes away. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food available nearby. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, making our arrival hassle-free. The shared kitchenette provides coffee, water, and basic utensils. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with a TV, minibar, and a small desk. Toiletries like shampoo and body wash are also provided. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely return!
