My stay at the Clarion Draken in Gothenburg over New Year’s Eve was nothing short of fantastic. As someone with mite allergies, I often face challenges with hotel beds, but at Clarion Draken, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was not only soft and inviting, but also allergen-free, ensuring a comfortable and sneeze-free night’s sleep. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the view from the hotel. Positioned perfectly to overlook the city, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Gothenburg fireworks. It felt like we had front-row seats to the city’s celebrations, all from the comfort of the hotel. Adding to the experience was our time spent at the rooftop bar. The ambiance was perfect for ringing in the New Year, with a selection of drinks that catered to all tastes. It was a great place to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere. The next morning, we were greeted with an extensive breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of food available were impressive, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and tastes. It was the perfect way to start the new year. Lastly, the ease of checking in and out added to the seamless experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our stay was hassle-free from start to finish. In conclusion, my stay at Clarion Draken was a delightful experience, combining comfort, luxury, and festive cheer. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a special New Year’s Eve in Gothenburg.

The design of the hotel was super cool. For breakfast, I dropped and broke a pepper mill, and I confessed to the staff. She was like “It's ok, thank u for telling me :)”.     Overall the property is well maintained - the spa had great facilities and was super relaxing. The breakfast buffet was really good and had a great spread to choose from. The property is centrally located which makes it easier to go sight seeing with good access to the tram, bus and train station to most places including the islands in Gothenburg. Most restaurants, cafes, boat rides that give you a city tour and even the mall - Nordstan are at a walking distance from the property which makes it very convenient!

    Very nice and comfortable rooms, wleness and spa with lots of saunas, outside pools with hot water, unfortunately we left before main breakfast-but they served mini breakfast for early flight departures, we appreciated it a lot! We relaxed, enjoyed our evening and had nice time. There are many decorations and art around the hotel, it was quite nice to see so much of it.
