Very nice and modern hotel. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Trying to help. Got a very good room: big, quiet (11 floor). Nice facilities: pool, spa, Sheff restaurant at evening. Close to city center (10 minutes easy walking). Also is very close to central, big park in Ljubljana.

Host: Matic was an excellent host. Really helpful, flexible and responsive. We had a nightmare trip, arriving very late to the apartment which Matic handled with grace Apartment: we are a family with 4 adult daughters. There was more than enough space. This was the best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in – truly a home from home. Parking was an added bonus Location: Brilliant location. The walk to the centre of Ljubljana is around 45 minutes. You can go along the main road or through the park (which is a much more pleasant route). Otherwise the bus (#7 if I remember) stops outside and drops you 5 mins from the centre for 1.30 euro

I can’t remember when was the last time I was satisfied with my accommodation and service as much as I were with this place. There was not single person in the staff that I found even slightly impolite, everyone was always on their best and happy to help. Room was very comfortable with a great, big bed, perfectly clean. Their breakfast is phenomenal and so is the rest of the food that we have had there. Slovenian beer and wine selection if huge, and nicely chosen, if I might add. Small, presents every day were a really nice touch, and a toy dragon that I daughter got was an exceptional move. I will definitively be back!

Denis at Sparrow Hostel is just a wonderful host. He's very friendly, pleasant and helpful and gave us great recommendations so we could enjoy the city even more. It's super easy to get to the city center from the hostel, as well as the parks or the shopping center, and there are fast food, bakery and good restaurants nearby.

The apartment was amazing, comfortable and cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, and a cozy little terrace was nice. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and not too busy. And everything is pretty much in walkable distance. Also the host was very friendly and helpful even before we arrived.
